- Inetctl - 'simplifies the enabling and disabling of services provided by inetd'
- SlackFire - Firewall script for Slackware
- Slackports - BSD like ports system for Slackware
- Slacktrack - A tool to simplify building packages from the Slackware source tree.
- Swaret - Auto-update tool
- Testldddeps - A script to see which programs have missing library dependencies.
- Whichpkg - A script to find out which package has a specific file

Programs that are no longer maintained
The following application appear to no longer be maintained. They are likely to only work for older Slackware distributions
- SlackUpdate - Package Updater
- Autoslack - One of the original package auto-updaters.
- slackman - A GNOME based package management tool
- Slaktool - Library to add features to the standard package manager.
- SAStk - Security hardened boot scripts
- Slackftp - Unofficial FTP install boot and root disks
- DOS Slack - FreeDOS bootdisk for Slackware 8.1
